Terms of service

Last updated 30 September 2026.

Draft. These terms are pending legal review and may change before they take effect.

The service

Tutro is software for tutoring companies. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of your company.

Your account

You are responsible for the people you invite, the roles you give them, and the accuracy of the information you add. Keep your sign-in details private.

Plans and billing

Plans are billed monthly. You can cancel anytime and your plan continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Plan limits, such as students and storage, apply as shown on the pricing page.

Parent payments

Parents pay your invoices online through Paystack. Payments are paid out to your company’s bank account through a Paystack subaccount. Paystack’s own terms and fees apply. Your company is responsible for its invoices, pricing and VAT.

Your content and data

Your company owns the information it adds. You give us permission to process it to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

AI features

AI output can be wrong. Tutors should review generated quizzes and approve marks before they are shared.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other companies’ data, or use it to break the law.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Tutro available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous three months.
